Dad had been warded into the hospital on treatment for stone. He's not through yet. Have to wait till his urine cleared. Yesterday Mom got into an accident. A truck hit the back side of her car and was badly damaged. She called my brother at home with me then and we set out to the site and to question the truck driver, a Malay and to lodge a police report. Luckily we had car insurance. That scene took us the whole day at the police station and finally by evening , we're through and we had the police report and then set off for home. We drive carefully and slowly with me beside Mom driving the broken down proton wira back home and covered it with a piece of cloth. We had arranged with the insurance agency on the workshop location and the exact workshop to be taken to in order to be able to claim insurance. We had been taught carefully by my elder brother and a kind auto mechanic whom we went to ask about our car damage.
We ate at Aeon Rawang at Anggun Shopping Centre just outside. I had a SIZZLING HOTPLATE of YEE MEE with chicken and mushroom and Mom had one too with an extra egg. My brother had a setplate of beef steak with rice and wedges. I also had a cup of cold coffee ordered by my brother too.
That night Mom slept with me upstairs with the air-con on as it was extremely hot. We woke up this morning, walked to the market outside, eat breakfast PAN MEE at a restaurant and bought food and take away. At the market , Mom bought chicken drumsticks and vegetables and food. We met Janet, Mom's friend and asked about learning how to dance. Aerobics, Yoga or folk dance. Street dance would also be welcomed. We also sucked on sweets as Mom's lips were sour and dry.
Later my brother and Mom went outside to the auto repair shop that can claim insurance settled by a kind associate and after making several moves to find Dad's file of the insurance policy inside the cupboard. They also went back to the police station to do some alterations on some mistakes wrongly typed by the police officer on my mother's race. She's chinese but was written Malay. All's well and has been done. Now to wait for the auto mechanic workshop's call about the success on the claim of the insurance and then to take the car to the workshop to be repaired.
I had beef burger with an omelette this afternoon while taking care of the house the entire day. Mom did not go to see Dad at the hospital because we had to settle the insurance claim on the damages to the car and about the workshop chosen to be taken our car to. We were asked NOT to visit him today as he is finally enjoying his stay at the hospital in kinship with the other patients.
